Colten David Brown was born on June 27, 1996 the son of David Brown (Linda Shields) and Pamela Bright (Marvin). Colten passed away on January 6, 2021, following a courageous battle with COVID-19. He grew up in Tidioute and Warren and is a graduate of Warren Area High School. He furthered his education at Jamestown Community College and Penn State Behrend, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology. He was very proud to be an officer with the Erie County Adult Probation and Parole office, as well as an Amway Consultant. Colt touched many people’s lives. He was a cheerleader to others through his daily Snapchat’s, messages and his use of inspirational quotes and bible verses. He has been described by his friends as loyal, inspirational, and having a true heart of gold. Anyone that encountered Colt knew he had an infectious smile coupled with an enormous bear hug he used every day to make someone’s day brighter. If people needed Colt, he was there, no questions asked. Colten enjoyed living life to the fullest. Some of Colt’s hobbies include working on his truck (Rhonda), going to the gym, hanging out with friends and hunting. He also loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his niece and nephews. Colt was a member of Praise Fellowship Church, Delta Chi Fraternity, North Star Lodge #241, Farrah Grotto, and the Penn State Behrend Competitive Cheer Team. He was also a past Mr. Penn State Behrend.
